Managing your account settings in Thane is straightforward. This guide will help you understand how to update your account details, change your PIN, rename your account, and create additional accounts.

Default Account Creation

An account is automatically created for you when you start using Thane. This account is linked to your recovery phrase and includes wallet addresses for all the various chains supported by Thane

Updating Account Details

Accessing Account Settings

To update your account details, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the settings icon located in the top right corner of the Home screen.

Changing Your PIN

  1. In the "Settings" menu, find the option to update your PIN.

  2. Enter your current PIN, then enter and confirm your new PIN.

Renaming Your Account

  1. In the "Settings" menu, click on "Rename Account".

  2. Enter the new name for your account and save the changes.

Adding Another Account

You can add multiple accounts within your Thane App, all associated with your original recovery phrase. Each new account will have a separate set of wallet addresses. To add another account:

  1. In the "Settings" menu, find and click on the option to add another account.

  2. Follow the prompts to set up your new account.
